Menu Design — BlueNose Coffee

This student project was to create a coffee shop menu for a local shop of our choosing, I went with one right in my town of Farmington, BlueNose Coffee. Through research I was able to extract information about what they include on their menu as well as graphical elements and their color scheme. Along with some creative liberties I was able to chose an additional typographic style to be used for the headings of each category of goods and body text, with the primary focus of the creation of the menu being visual hierarchy so customers can clearly decipher text that is associated with subtext descriptions and price. With many items of differing expected temperature, they were organized to be easily communicated at a quick glance for optimal ordering speed. The software I used in the creation of all the assets was Illustrator.
