Branding — Crown Meadows
Project type
Branding, Logo Design, Mockup, Brand Guidelines, Label Design, Card Design
This student project had us “approached” by Crown Meadows to do a complete rebrand of their visual identity. They wanted their brand to be more approachable by a younger demographic. This included inventing their entire brand as well as the creation of Brand Guidelines to follow suit incase other designers were to touch the project. Once the creation of the new brand was complete, I had to create designs for the Wine Bottles and Business Cards. During the creation of the brand in my research phase I learned quite a bit about wine, most importantly when harvesting season is, Fall. I already loved the Fall aesthetic and immediately was inspired to capture that calm; friendly face that Fall encompasses. Taking those beautiful and relaxing colors to create a soothing color scheme to compound with the new friendly face of the imagined Crown Meadows brand. For the logo I wanted to capture the grapevine and embed it within its title showcasing its direct connection with the creation of the product and humble roots. The software I used in the creation of all brand assets was Illustrator, it was primarily used for the creation of the various logo variations for ease of experimentation and flexibility. Photoshop was used for the creation of mockups to represent how the final physical version of the Wine Bottles and Business Cards would appear once printed to get the full effect of the brand brought to life. InDesign was used for the creation of the Brand Guide with all the other assets coming together from the other programs into the realization of the Crown Meadows brand as a whole.
